Senet Corporate Solicitors is a reputable corporate law firm in Ghana set up to offer corporate clients with proactive, practical and prudent legal advisory services which cuts across the spectrum of our clients’ critical business and legal issues. Senet is well positioned to offer services to any corporate institution or individual doing or interested in doing business in Ghana.

Senet was established in early 2014 by a team led by Michael Gaveh, an experienced corporate lawyer in Ghana. Michael is a former Partner at Oxford & Beaumont Solicitors (now ENS Africa), where he was the head of the Finance and Projects team. Before then, he had previously worked with Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa & Ankomah and as in-house counsel for the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC). He had also served as an adjunct lecturer at the Central University College.

Michael has a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) degree from the University of Ghana and a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in foreign direct investment, international trade and environment from Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada. Michael has been named as a “Rising Star” by the prestigious international legal directory, ILFER 1000 for the years 2013 and 2014.

Kwaku Aning

Senior Partner

Kwaku is a Senior Associate at Senet Corporate Solicitors. He obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration (GIMPA) in 2014 and earned a Qualifying Certificate from the Ghana School of Law. He joined Senet upon completion of his pupillage at Kulendi@LAW, a reputable law firm in Accra, Ghana. Kwaku has a Master of Laws degree (LLM) in Oil & Gas (Energy) and is a member of the Ghana Bar Association.

Kwaku specialises in Energy, Oil and Gas, Mining, Banking and Project Finance, General Corporate and Commercial law, Joint Ventures, Construction, Regulatory, Tax and legal compliance matters,

His experience includes advising commercial entities and infrastructure projects in relation to commercial agreements, loan facilities and regulatory issues.

In addition, Kwaku has provided legal consultancy services to the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC).

Before he decided to pursue a legal career, Kwaku worked for a number of years in the field of social work. Kwaku had graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work and Political Science. He obtained a Master of Science degree in Social Work at Columbia University in New York in 2003.

His experience also includes working with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and internship at the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice in Accra, Ghana.

Sarah Adum-Attah

Sarah is a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology where she had a first degree in Publishing Studies and of University of Cape Coast from where she obtained her Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B) degree. Sarah also holds an LLM degree from Pennsylvania State University (2024) where she specialized in Corporate and Commercial Practice. Sarah is a product of the Ghana School of Law and was called to the bar in October 2019.

Sarah is currently a Senior Associate of Senet Corporate Solicitors where her practice involves Energy law, Corporate and Commercial Transactions, Commercial Litigations as well as Legal compliance matters.

Godlove Kotey Kotei

Associate

Godlove obtained his Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology and Linguistics from the University of Ghana, Legon. In 2019, he obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and continued to pursue the Professional Law Course at the Ghana School of Law and was called to the Ghana Bar in 2021.

Godlove is currently an Associate with Senet. He has adequate working experience acquired as a Legal Officer with the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission by offering legal advice, assist with the drafting of legal documents and correspondences to the Commission, Associate in private practice handling litigation cases in Land Disputes, Estate Matters, Criminal and Commercial Disputes and Consultant to the Receiver, Eric Nipah while working on ensuring the swift payment of customers of default financial institutions. He has also obtained valuable experience as a Compliance Officer in the Legal Department in the erstwhile Ideal Finance Limited and contributed in the perfection of mortgages and security documents and the recovery of loans. He has interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution and a keen interest in International Trade particularly, the African Continental Free Trade Area.

Nana A. Tachiaw Donkor

Associate

Tachiaw is a graduate from the University of Ghana from where she has a Bachelor of Arts in French and Psychology and the University of London where she obtained her Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B) degree. Tachiaw is also a graduate of the University of Law (United Kingdom) where she studied the Legal Practice Course and obtained a Master of Laws in Professional Practice (LPC/LLM). Tachiaw is a product of the Ghana School of Law and was called to the bar in October 2021.

Tachiaw currently works with Senet Corporate Solicitors as an associate lawyer after completing her pupillage with the firm. She has adequate working experience acquired as a National Service Personnel with Ghana Civil Aviation Authority’s Legal and International Relations Department and an intern with Brookside Services Consultancy. She also worked as an educator at Lotus Educational Centre where she taught French, English and Mathematics.

Rachael Ampofo

Associate

Rachael Ampofo is an associate at Senet Corporate Solicitors. She has worked on drafting legal contracts, conducting research and conferencing with clients.

Rachael obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Ghana in 2020 and has a Qualifying Certificate from the Ghana School of Law to practice law in Ghana.

She has worked with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration where she gained experience in reviewing legal documents like contracts and bills. Rachael also worked on sensitive consular issues and assisted in drafting legal opinions concerning international matters. 

Rachael is also a candidate for a Masters (MA) in International Affairs from the Legon Centre for International Affairs and Diplomacy. She aspires to specialize in corporate law as well as international dispute resolution.

Albright Atuahene

Associate

Albright Atuahene is an associate at Senet Corporate Solicitors, having completed a six-month pupillage program with the firm, where she is actively involved in both litigation and corporate practice.

Albright’s practice areas include representing clients in court and providing legal advisory services on corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiations.

Albright obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Ghana in 2019 and earned her Qualifying Certificate from the Ghana School of Law, which enables her to practice law in Ghana.

During her time in law school, Albright interned with various firms, where she gained hands-on experience in legal research and drafting. These internships allowed her to work on a variety of legal issues, deepening her understanding of litigation, corporate, and commercial sectors.

At Senet Corporate Solicitors, Albright plays a key role in handling complex legal matters, assisting clients in navigating both courtroom disputes and corporate legal challenges. She is dedicated to delivering tailored legal solutions with a focus on integrity and excellence
